In Unit 2 of CKLA, 5th grade studied Early American Civilizations. The students studied the Maya, Aztec and Inca civilizations. Students researched each civilization. Once the research was completed they published their findings through a Codex Project. @canon_mac @DrTaranto

I exclaimed, "ABSOLUTELY!" with the most enthusiastic smile. The student started to play their composition. Other students in her section wanted to see and hear what she was playing. These are the authentic music moments that matter.
