Does this pass the pub test? “There is no suggestion Klein has ever acted inappropriately while officiating or breached any NRL regulations.” NRL talked to Klein about it in 2019 and kept it under wraps since. smh.com.au/sport/nrl/nrl-s-n…

I don’t know if it’s possible for the US to vote for stupider people than they have recently, but this guy is absolutely the bottom of the barrel and would be hard to surpass.

I got taught as a youngster ‘never piss off the referee’. Let’s not forget, they’re a family. Hurt one, you hurt them all. I’m sure the USMNT is quietly thrilled that every 50-50 call may go against them.

If there is a bigger #arseclown among the ranks of Australia’s former politicians than this prize-winning imbecile, I’d like to know who it is. (I’m fully aware that Cabbage Patch Babet says he’s not going to stand for re-election, so Kelly will have a challenger soon enough.)

If you live near the ocean, any ocean, or have a beachfront holiday house, read this.
This is really stupid, and it’s not getting enough attention. The Trump administration is pulling a working $368 million ocean monitoring system out of the water, equipment taxpayers already bought, built, and sank into the deep ocean. And they are doing it right when the oceans are behaving in ways that alarm the scientists who study them. Record-breaking temperatures. A system of Atlantic currents that may be lurching toward collapse. The response? Yank out the instruments and walk away. That is not budgeting. That is smashing the gauges while the engine is on fire and calling it efficiency. For what? The Trump administration dressed it up as a “nimbler approach” and “smart lifecycle management,” which is fancy nonsense for “we shut it off and hoped nobody would ask why.” There is no return-on-investment analysis. They cannot show taxpayers save a dime, because the gear is already paid for and the science it produces protects real money and real lives. The kicker: the same people killing the monitors want to mine the deep sea for minerals. So they are destroying the only tools that could measure what that mining does. That is not an accident. That is the point. You cannot see the damage if you break the instruments first. cnn.com/2026/06/03/climate/o…

Hey @AstraZeneca @AstraZenecaUS @astrazenecaANZ you deserve every patent violation that rips off your work around the world. You pull a life-saving medication from Australia for ‘commercial reasons’ with no further explanation. You pull the FEMALE dosage, not the MALE one. …/2

And amazingly enough, once a drug goes on the PBS, it almost always winds up being prescribed MORE here. Making you more money. So, after you hoodwinked a previous PM into backing your COVID vaccine here, above other safer alternatives, this is your thanks? Fuck you. END.

Instead of paying the lot, patients make a capped co-payment currently maxed at $25.00 per prescription. Our government pays the balance of the price. So a $120 medicine costs the patient only $25. The Aussie government pays the remaining $95. …/4

Here’s the thing, it’s on Australia’s Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, which arguably gets you more revenue than if it wasn’t. You get the full payment for it, and patients get that a reduced price. Understand? Perhaps a brief explainer is in order…/3

Amazingly, the peanut gallery who shout loudest demanding cuts to the ABC are now saying the ABC should have bought Bluey. It didn’t have the money to compete with the BBC partly because of Abbott’s cuts. Idiocy reigns supreme.
Another ABC blunder has been exposed. The public broadcaster lost billions after selling the rights of the hit show Bluey. It turns out this isn’t the first time they’ve made this mistake. Listen to the details HERE. 🎧omny.fm/shows/ben-fordham-fu…🎧

“AND YOU STILL DARE TO OPEN YOUR MOUTH…” Sasha Legerman: This is too accurate not to share. This Australian’s response to Trump’s rant that “NATO does nothing for America” is absolutely devastating: “Mate. You run a country where 600,000 homeless people will sleep on the streets tonight. A country where 40% of adults can’t cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money. A country where insulin costs more than a car payment, and people ration it just to stay alive. A country where medical debt is the number one cause of bankruptcy. A country where women die in hospital parking lots because doctors are too afraid of abortion laws to treat miscarriages. You imprison more of your own citizens than any country on Earth. More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea. In the land of the free, 2 million people sit in cages, and a quarter of them haven’t even been convicted of anything. They’re simply too poor to afford bail. Your life expectancy is declining. You’re the only developed nation where that’s happening. Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba’s. Your children practice active shooter drills between math and English classes while you sell defense stocks to your friends. Your minimum wage hasn’t changed in 15 years. Your teachers work two jobs, your veterans sleep under bridges, and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that never attacked you. And now a convicted criminal — found liable for sexual abuse, defending a pedophile, sleeping with a porn star, and running the biggest dumpster-fire campaign since the Taliban — is thanking you for yet another disaster. And you call Greenland badly governed? Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world. Nobody there goes bankrupt because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because insurance refused treatment. ‘NATO wasn’t there when we needed them.’ When exactly was that, champ? September 11? Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU. Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU. Australia wasn’t even in NATO, and we still showed up. For twenty years. And then you left at 2 a.m. without telling anyone and left everybody else to clean up the mess. You don’t care that a great nation is being terrorized by your friend, and you haven’t shown it a single ounce of sympathy. So maybe before calling other countries badly governed, take a look at your own backyard, you aluminum siding salesman with a spray tan. The only thing badly managed in this picture is your damn mouth. And you still dare to lecture the rest of the world?”

So let’s all watch and wait to see what the @NSWBlues do if Moses - the named 5/8 - drops out of the team due to injury. Common sense says the other 5/8 already in the squad would move into the starting role. Of course, common sense goes out the window at Origin time.
