A thread on #Sound, #Order and #Survival. The book is completely rewritten, though #PhD based. It still charts a year spent in a local men's #prison asking the community (staff and prisoners) about sound, but is the story of a prisons relationship with its city, place and people.

For years to come historians will argue over the significance of the ‘criminological rebound’ that occurred at @BSC2024Strath but as they scour the digital records they may miss the crucial catalytic. Fortunately some were smuggled out and across the border.
