We join with Jewish federations around the country mourning the victims of this horrific act of terror and praying for a full recovery for the injured.
Jewish Federations are heartbroken and outraged at the murder of Rabbi Zvi Kogan, a Chabad emissary to the UAE. May his memory be for a blessing and his family be comforted among the mourners of Zion.
CJP’s Center for Combating Antisemitism is proud to partner with @TheAENetwork (AEN), and we’re grateful for their leadership. Convening and empowering Jewish faculty is critical in this moment to foster positive campus climates for Jews and all students.
Following the election, CJP's President and CEO, Rabbi Marc Baker, writes on fighting for our values and for what matters most to us while staying in relationship and community with others.

One year after the horrific October 7th attack on the people of Israel, our hearts are heavy for those who have lost loved ones at the hands of Hamas. I have ordered flags to be flown at half-staff today in their memory.
We remain resolute in our commitment to working toward the release of the remaining hostages and peace in the region. Read my full statement.
ALT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE | OCTOBER 7, 2024
Statement from Governor Maura Healey
One Year After October 7th Attacks
One year ago today, the terrorist group Hamas launched a horrific, indefensible attack on the people of Israel, as well as hundreds of Americans peacefully living there. Since that day, terror, grief and trauma have continued to reverberate throughout the Jewish community, coupled with a rise in antisemitism and hate both here in Massachusetts and across the globe.
Each step of the way, I have been inspired by the resilience of Massachusetts' Jewish community, which has come together with kindness and compassion to support each other in the face of unspeakable tragedy. Today, our hearts are heavy for those who have lost loved ones at the hands of Hamas. We remain resolute in our commitment to working toward the release of the remaining hostages and peace in the region.
After 365 days in captivity, 101 hostages remain missing. We will not let them be forgotten. We carry their names and memories in our hearts as we continue to pray for them, their families and loved ones, and for their safe return home.
