What's crazy is how much more effective Tulsky has been at identifying talent with upside in RBA's system than Waddell was. Basically all of Tulsky's acquisitions have become better players than they were previously, whereas Waddell's got worse after ending up on Carolina 🧵🧵🧵

The majority of the hockey media worked overtime to mock the Hurricanes for the whole Rantanen ordeal as proof of their unseriousness in the moment, meanwhile it paid dividends immediately and aged even better
