**Quick note:** I’m currently sick, so I had Grok help me organize this post. Otherwise it would’ve been a jumbled mess of me straight-up telling people off 😂
---
I’ve known heartless, uncompassionate, and selfish CEOs up close — I was related to two of them. Elon Musk is nothing like them.
I’ve watched the hate directed at him for becoming a trillionaire, and much of it stems from pure ignorance about what that wealth actually represents. It’s not a giant pile of cash sitting in a bank account for him to swim in. From everything I’ve observed, he doesn’t live lavishly like my relatives would have. He works far harder, shows more common sense, and doesn’t let the money go to his head. His wealth is almost entirely tied up in the companies he leads — companies he often runs without taking a salary — building technology, creating jobs, and launching new ventures that spawn even more businesses and employment.
It’s a chain reaction with him at the center. When people casually talk about “taking his wealth,” they don’t seem to realize they’d also be destroying the livelihoods of countless employees, suppliers, contractors, and supporting businesses that all depend on these efforts.
I shake my head at the jealousy and shortsightedness behind the desire to see his downfall. I don’t understand the hatred, and I doubt I ever will. Yes, he speaks brutal truths that many don’t want to hear — but at least they’re truths. His timelines can slip, but if you’ve never worked in high-stakes production, you won’t grasp how difficult mass manufacturing truly is. Unforeseen problems always arise, especially when you refuse to cut corners the way legacy automakers often do on early runs.
Let the man have a private life. Stay out of it.
Congratulations,
@elonmusk. Keep being you. The world needs far more people like you, not fewer.
