Ok, here is what we have on the table as #COP28 approaches the end. Some quite nice wordings but no clear phase out of fossil fuels. And the worst: everything under ”could”. The direction is in place but no shared path or ambition.

So this is it, the key paragraph on energy and #FossilFuels at #COP28. Good: - 3x RES, 2x efficiency with 2030 timeline Bad: - no clear action on fossil fuels in this critical decade, and net-zero by 2050 leaves lots of room for BAU Ugly: - all under “could..inter alia”
