According to "Pro Tip #6" on the website at riderta.com/fares/farecappin…, the minimum that can be added is $2, but an attempted load of $2 resulted in another error on the POS terminal. This time the cashier advised that the minimum reload amount is $5.

Given that the website says that money can be added using credit cards, debit cards, and cash at Vanilla Direct locations, and that the minimum cash load is $2, is there a problem with the Vanilla Reload network/Circle K, or is the information on the website inaccurate?

In Atlanta’s case, part of why the service isn’t growing much is that the City decided to devote all of its own transit funding source to transit infrastructure instead of transit service. 4/
