When I made $34k, I qualified for Medicaid. I have a friend who makes $60k and doesn’t qualifying anyone discounts for insurance. Her take home after taxes and insurance is less than mine was. We were both single moms.

I have my private views on insurance/pharma issues but it needs to be said that the upper middle class struggles. They are the first people cut off from assistance but the premiums are so high 😳 This is another reason why so many millennials aren’t have children until their 30s
