There's a hack focused around Minecraft mod packs making its way around Discord, taking over people's accounts. @discord @discord_support is moving at a glacial pace in responding to any of it. My friends are all getting nowhere with support. This is bad for a modern tech company

You'd think a company the size of Discord would be well equipped in this day and age, at their scale, to tackle a problem like this. Yet countless people are being hacked as it spreads from friend network to network. They still haven't caught up with tweets here either

And on top of that, they wanted us to trust them verifying our ID to verify our age. Fuck off. We need a better alternative to Discord. One that also doesn't just black hole communities so they are not openly searchable on the web and require opting in to a closed private system

The UEFA mess is a perfect example of why saying "keep politics out of work" can often mean "dont show your rainbow flags, your pride, your photos of your same-sex partners on your desk" to the LGBT community..

I got my first dose of the Pfizer COVID vaccine on Friday. My arm hurt for a couple of days but otherwise no side effects. Still isn't sinking in that this nightmare will be over in a few months. Much lack of grief over the past year.

Not shopping at @HEB for the foreseeable future. Lifting mask restrictions for customers right now is just too risky. I expected better from them.
