11–15 May: The CMA hosted its Mediation & Skills Development Training, bringing together participants for an intensive & engaging learning experience. Exploring a wide range of mediation contexts from high-level political mediation to community-level conflict resolution. 1/2

Through practical exercises, discussions, and expert-led sessions, participants strengthened their negotiation, communication, and conflict management skills while gaining valuable insight into the complexities of mediation across different sectors. 2/2

In a recent dialogue between the CMA, Restorative Justice Centre, and LoĆÆc Berthout from Canada, we explored the evolving tension between interest-based and transformative mediation, particularly through ā€˜Global South’ and ā€˜Global North’ perspectives. 1/2
