DAY TWO: Your friendly reminder of the rules of the road around school buses! Give yourself extra time so you're not rushing. Also, holding your cell phone while driving in a school zone (or a work zone) is against Florida law! #FirstWarningTraffic @WPBF25News

159 years ago today, on June 19, 1865, General Gordon Granger and Union Army troops marched to Galveston, Texas to free the last enslaved Black Americans and enforce the Emancipation Proclamation that had been issued by President Abraham Lincoln on January 1, 1863. The School District of Palm Beach County acknowledges Juneteenth and its significance, as part of the District’s efforts to uphold its mission to educate, affirm, and inspire each student in an equity-embedded school system.
