“When someone is absurdly predictable and nods vehemently in agreement with every one of their tribes policies, frankly, they are full of shit. I don’t buy it because they are blindly allegiant without applying any critical thinking. They are loyal to a tribe, not to an idea

Great to see two women added to this important committee.
I welcome the Liberal State Executive’s focus on delivering best outcomes for the people of NSW, through collaborating with our federal team by appointing an admin committee, but at my request expanding it to 4 members to include outstanding NSW women Peta Seaton and Fiona Scott.

Contrary to current social media pile-ones, you actually don’t have to provide an opinion if you don’t want to. My piece in today’s The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age. smh.com.au/national/i-don-t-

As always, incisive commentary from Larl — also a pretty blatant illustration of why @hilmasnetwork is so needed.
Josh could have challenged Scott Morrison for the leadership, he didn’t. Josh could have put his hand up for Kooyong, he didn’t. He could have run for the Victorian Senate vacancy, he didn’t. Women are not collateral damage for Josh Frydenberg’s regrets.

The independence of the AEC is one of the best things about our democracy. Great interview by Keith.
There is a lot of cynicism in politics, but we should cherish the independence of our @AusElectoralCom as an institution of democracy. Full interview with Raf on YT: youtu.be/y0PmPlUmb8k?si=BvfS

If Josh wanted to go for the seat, he had ample opportunity months ago. The preselection was in March.

Now be a good girl and let the men take it from here, pet! The women who have been preselected and campaigning for months are not seat warmers for dudes.

Saying that a woman would be expected to simply hand over a now more likely winnable seat on a platter is insinuating they’re crumb maidens. And it wouldn’t be in the best interests of the party/democracy.

This podcast is a must listen for anyone frustrated with how slow and inefficient politics/governance has become. We are trying to appease every single stakeholder on every single idea and it’s entirely counterproductive to progress in any area. podcasts.apple.com/au/podcas

It’s great to see prominent Liberals coming out in support of increasing our female representation in Parliament. I look forward to Mr Abbott providing endorsements, support and influence in favour of women in the many preselections still to come.
The Liberal Party needs more women MPs: Tony Abbott. By @paulsakkal and me. theage.com.au/politics/feder

Incredibly excited for Amelia, and our Party! A terrific choice by the members in Kooyong. Amelia is fresh, smart, energised and incredibly smart.
Congratulations to Amelia Hamer who has been selected as the Liberal Party’s candidate for Kooyong for the next Federal Election.

Punishing women for the actions of men
 Archaic from The Greens.
Anna Finizio has been one of the most vocal Liberals in trying to improve the Party’s gender representation. SHY knows this. It is truly disgusting to attack women for an issue they didn’t create, desperately don’t want, and are actively trying to fix. @sarahinthesen8

The Greens take the moral high ground when it suits their agenda but in this case, have chosen to use women as fodder for their political gains. Electing Liberal women helps improve our Party’s gender representation in parliament. It’s not rocket science. Disgraceful.
