Love this city #geographyteacher #SenseOfPlace #Place #Perceptions lovely A Level comparison - public face v reality studies. Very much like the poems/adverts etc for other areas. Most local areas have something like this your students can relate to.

Great opportunity to discuss ecosystems and species found in the British Isles and get students to vote on something real. You could even pair it with some species diversity surveys for the national festival of fieldwork #geographyteacher bankofengland.co.uk/news/202…

If you haven’t seen what Manny does, or how he does it, please take a minute to check it out. Manny is doing an amazing challenge walking to the start of the London Marathon without sleep and then completing the marathon. What an incredible and inspiring human being who regularly shares this with local students inspiring them to do good in the world. Please consider donating to @DementiaUK for Manny’s challenge (link on original post)
20km and £20000 added to the total 😍😍😍😍😍 @DementiaUK @LondonMarathon justgiving.com/fundraising/m…

Hard work today. Some lovely possession but as one of the reporters said we could have played until next week and not scored

#LoveWhereYouLive Lovely walk with the dog whilst listening to biophilic design presentation prior to sharing with classes. How nice to consider the importance of reducing nature deficit and how we can integrate nature into our urban lives whilst walking amongst the trees. #GeographyTeacher #BiophilicDesign

It was wonderful to welcome @DanEvansol to two of our academies this week. Quote of the day “I have never been more interested in soils”. Whilst with us our students were able to ask questions about soil related careers (forensic soil science was a favourite) and our @EcoSchools groups shared their infiltration rate experiments. #geographyteacher

Although I love the flexible nature of this space, as a way to bring green space and community gardening into the city, it is so sad when it moves. #GeographyTeacher #UrbanGreening

Wonderful to get another of our schools working through the @EcoSchools programme. Congratulations to all at Skegness Grammar for all their hard work and I look forward to seeing where you take the school next! #EcoSchools #GeographyTeacher

Using first person voices where they are available is important for students to feel emotion and hear authentic, rather than fictional/collated/curated stories. #geographyteacher #VoicesMatter
Great opportunity to hear first person voices from the Amazon.

Some times you see the shadows, sometimes you see the light. They do not exist without each other. Your perspective is what changes.
