Conservation Measures Partnership (CMP) is made up of orgs & agencies committed to improving the practice of #conservation. Stewards of #ConservationStandards
In the face of increasing #climatechange driven disasters, how do we ensure that our conservation programs are deeply #resilient? Learn more about how the #ConservationStandards can help you plan for climate threats. Visit CMP’s CC group’s page: bit.ly/CMP_CC_Group
ALT A coral reef with tropical islands in the background. Half of the image is above the water and the other half is below. Around the top left corner, a banner hangs down that says “Climate-Resilient Conservation Learning Initiative”. In the top right, CMP’s logo appears.
Drawing on Swedish conservation experience, this insightful framework & guidance tool for MPA design & management from Sweden’s Agency for Marine & Water Mgmt & @FoundOfSuccess Europe is one of many great resources in the CS library. View here - bit.ly/MPA_Guidance
ALT A report called “The Swedish approach to MPA Network Design & Management”. The top half of the image is a photo of a wooden dock going out into still water. To the right the sky and water are dark. To the left, they are brighter. There are rocks in the center, closer to land. A logo for the “Framework for Marine Protected Areas” with multiple rain drops appears a little bit to the right of the docks. The “Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management” logo is near the bottom.
