There is a lot I could say about the laughably facile anti-Cristian tropes throughout Spielberg’s Disclosure Day, but we’re kinda used to that stuff. Beyond that, it’s a cringy bad movie. There are no character arcs, if there are even characters. Just actors being moved from place to lacking motivation or even will with ridiculous McGuffins that do what ever they need to do, if you can even call it a plot . It’s an embarrassment. The anti-Christian tropes pretend to tackle the big questions, but fail so spectacularly for lack of even the most basic understanding of Christian belief. As I said, we’re used to such things. What we’re not used to is such movie-making imbecility from of our great directors. The only belief shaken by Disclosure Day is our belief in Spielberg’s ability to make a decent movie.

Dissent will not be tolerated
MLB warned players that they violated league rules after three pitchers from the San Francisco Giants appeared in Friday’s game with Bible verses written on their ‘Pride Night’ caps, says similar behavior will not be tolerated.

Bluesky won’t be included in the under-16s social media ban. Twitter/X will be. This is clearly a political decision, nothing to do with child safety.

Again, you may not like the UFC thing at the White House, but the moment you hung a giant pride flag from the columns and had half-naked “trans” activists exposing themselves on the lawn, you lost all right to complain about desecration.

True, but it’s “well-earned contempt” fixed it for you
It isn't "traditional Catholicism" to treat the hierarchy with contempt.

If you saw the laughable Disclosure Day, only a boomer would think disclosure of something like that super-intelligent aliens would go the an NBC news affiliate. Boomer aliens, I can’t think of anything more terrifying.

A great man and a great writer of whom I was constantly jealous, even though I didn’t know it at the time.
Tomorrow is the 39th ordination anniversary of Fr. Paul Mankowski, SJ. Every day I pray for the repose of his soul, for his family, and for his intentions. Maybe some of you will join me tomorrow on behalf of the occasion.

Rings? I have many rings. This one is not special. I have many much better rings. I will throw this one into a volcano.

How do you consecrate something without actually saying you consecrating something?

I dare say that our first trillionaire, @elonmusk, wastes less on nonsense and vanity than 99% of those with a measly $10 million.

If the cover of the New York Post isn’t this photo with this headline “SACREBLEU IT” then what are we even doing anymore?

I know we’re still on a high, but we can’t overlook the horrible officiating.

Hope the Knicks learned the lesson SAS didn’t, when you have them down, Don let them back up.
