It's been a month since SCOTUS gutted the VRA, and what we’ve witnessed in the past 30 days prove just how essential these protections were.
The GOP is doing everything possible to take us back to Jim Crow-era levels of Black and brown representation.
Good to see some bipartisan pushback against Trump and his MAGA allies’ redistricting war. We support a national gerrymandering ban, but until one passes, we will push to ensure Colorado fights back against Trump's election-rigging. #copolitics
This comes as a group in CO is trying to get a measure on the ballot this Nov that would allow mid-cycle redistricting in Colorado. The proposed map gives D's a 7-1 advantage, including Hurd's seat. It's in response to R states that have redistricted to give Rs an advantage.

We must fight back. Read our release and sign up for our campaign to level the playing field with a temporary map that would add up to 3 more D seats in CO for 2028 and 2030, before returning to independent redistricting. co4lpf.com/supreme-courts-ca…
