Artists are human beings. Respect that. They do not belong to you and they don’t owe you anything. You are fans, not friends, and there are boundaries you should not cross. They have people around them, friends, family, colleagues, and they are adults. They know for themselves what they want and what they don’t.
Enjoy the content they put out, but don’t turn your behavior into something that makes them uncomfortable, whether through weird AI content, responding to hate with more hate, questioning their friendships, or similar actions. If you don’t like something, talk about it privately. And if you feel the need to post about it, be mindful of your wording and think twice about whether it’s truly necessary or helpful. For some, it seems to be more about personal likes and attention than genuine concern.
You say you want to support your artists, often that simply means staying silent. Enough artists have publicly stated that this kind of behavior does not help them but actually harms them. You wish them success with major brands, yet this behavior does the opposite and only pushes people away.
Being a fan should be enjoyable and make you happy, not turn into a war. You don’t have to take everything so seriously. Please stop, and if this is too much for you, take a social media break or find another hobby that brings you joy.
