This legislation guarantees paychecks for our officers, continues construction of the border wall, expands the crackdown on human trafficking, and provides the agents, technology, and detention capacity needed to find, detain, and deport criminal illegal aliens. Every single Democrat voted against it. Given the chance to stand with the men and women who protect American families, the radical Left chose the cartels, the traffickers, and the criminals. We can never forget what their open borders cost us. Laken Riley was murdered on a morning run by an illegal alien who should never have set foot in this country. This is the greatest border security turnaround in American history, and it happened because one man refused to back down. Every American family deserves to live in safety, and the conservative movement will never stop fighting until they do.
