Stop calling the people in Iran protestors and start calling them revolutionaries. Words matter, protests are supposed to be peaceful, and I hope what’s going on over there is anything but peaceful. They have my full support for a bloody fucking revolution. Thats how America was created, and it can be the same for them. They need to believe that, so stop calling them protestors.

Most Jewish families can't afford the costs of transitioning from Canadian to Israeli life even with the benefits accorded olim. Federations, BB et al need to start getting real about how to help Canadian Jews leave.

What is happening today is no different except it's been globalized. I beg you, please examine our history soberly and objectively and ask yourselves why is today any different? Has humanity evolved? In Israel we are armed, feared and dangerous. In the diaspora we are sitting ducks. Yes, it's that bad and, yes, it's come down to this level of calculus.
