We've introduced a period product station in the CSASS office, stocked with women's period products, and paper towels for people who are unable to use hand-dryers. This initiative is all about ensuring our staff, volunteers, and clients feel comfortable, supported, and empowered every day. More heartbreaking violence against women. “Ms Rose was a mother of six and grandma to 13 and had a long-term partner, a family statement issued via police said. "Our mum was well known and loved in the community," the family said. "She was brutally taken from us devastatingly too early, and we have been robbed of so much time with her.”

The stalking law places far too much onus on victims to evidence the impact. Victims must show they are fearful to obtain the right charge or conviction. This gratifies the stalker and proves their success. The law punishes victims who resist the stalkers oppressive behaviour.

Women’s and girls’ organisations are at the centre of the prevention and response to #MVAWG #VAWG and funding these organisations must be a TOP priority.
