PPS welcomed CHS’s very own Champ for a recent all school celebration as part of their PBIS curriculum! He came out applause and panda-monium, visiting each room during breakfast time.

A year ago, Colchester High School senior Stephane Mujomba wasn’t sure he wanted to go to college, but about a month ago with his mom on the phone, he started crying having just been awarded a full ride scholarship to Boston College. colchestersun.com/news/q-a-w…

Families were invited to attend the Early Education Program's Author Celebration, where students had prepared a song and dance (to their parents' delight!) and read together in one of the many cozy spots in our EEP rooms.

Exciting visit to @mbsosprey from @sensanders. Students got to ask him about his job and role and he was very interested to hear what they were currently learning about. @CSDAmyMinor and Principal Burke also got to chat with him about important initiatives in education.

Both PPS and UMS were treated to a concert by CHS's Chorus, conducted by Ms. Towle. Then the freshman chorus went to Harbor Village Senior Community in South Burlington, where they sang to the residents in their shared living space.

In CMS's STEM class students designed and putted their very own mini-golf courses. Working in teams they problem-solved, trouble-shot and built and rebuilt unique obstacles.
After the courses were built, they played each other's courses and analyzed stroke data.

The CSD Leadership Team met after school for a safety plan training where we strengthened our skills & added new tools to our safety plans. It is important that we keep our skills sharp with the most current best practices on school safety. If you see something, say something.
