Guys next time you play against Kazuya sidestep right instead of complaining like a bunch of scruubs, it isn't rocket science, the only guess you are in is a timing one not a mixup.

Hello Tekken Community, Accidentally didn't random the stage during tournament play? Button check? or just need to get out of the match quickly? Then this might be for you: I made a quick video on what you should do if you ever run across this: Find your characters below!

“ It’s already been over two years since T8 release. At this point, I think pro players would be better off studying matchups more seriously. “
Today’s patch comes with some major changes. Personally, I think if this had been the patch released at the start of Season 3, a lot of people would have accepted it as a genuine back to basics. Some are saying Bryan made it through today’s patch untouched, but I don’t see it that way. Bryan was already nerfed the moment Season 3 began, in advance, in the same way we’re now seeing changes like a 600 reduction to the Heat meter. That’s why this patch doesn’t really have much substance for him. There will probably be pro players claiming Bryan is the strongest after this patch, but they usually just say it without proving it themselves. The reason is probably simple: if they actually picked him up, they wouldn’t be able to get that kind of performance out of him. Most of them likely won’t even try. It’s already been over two years since T8 release. At this point, I think pro players would be better off studying matchups more seriously. This patch will make some people happy and others unhappy. In the end, I just hope everyone enjoys the game 🙏

When I look back at everything since Tekken 8 launched, I do think pro players’ opinions carry a certain level of credibility, but that doesn’t mean all of their views should automatically be accepted by everyone. I think that is probably one of the hardest things for BNE to manage as well. After all, this game has far more casual players than pro players. That’s why I think keeping that balance in the middle is what makes balance patches so difficult. In reality, there probably is no such thing as a balance patch that satisfies everyone. Still, I believe the developers have to keep striving for that if they want this to become an even better fighting game, especially because they’ve been developing this series for 30 years. So what I really want to say is that topics like “Top 5” are fun to talk about, but that doesn’t mean those opinions should automatically be taken as fact. That’s why I don’t really talk about those kinds of topics anymore. I think once a patch comes out, it’s more positive to focus on how to adapt and break through it. If you approach this game negatively, there are just way too many things in it that can become stressful.

Been saying it since 2015. If a game is just simplified, it's 2x as easy for new players, but 10x easier for experienced players. If a game has characters you love, doing cool stuff together/against each-other, people will justify reasons to keep playing at any level.
Another reminder that fighting games will NEVER be casual friendly. Change a million things about the genre, some for the better, but humans HATE losing. The only sure way to make a fighting game grow with casuals is to make it so cool that they want to push through the pain.

Everything anyone believes about how to play any fighting game is based on what they experienced watching or playing the game. It will always be based on perspective.
