Today Coach Nick DeLizio and the North Branford Thunderbirds play for back to back Class S state softball titles. Nick is a North Branford High School teacher by day, state champion head softball coach by afternoon, and rock star by night! He's a guitarist and vocalist for Connecticut's Premier Pop Essential Party Band - "Juice Box"! The group plays everywhere from the CT casinos, to weddings, to festivals like North Branford's annual Potato and Corn (POCO) Festival. @NBHS_nb #ctsb

IMPORTANT Parking Information for Softball State Championships at UConn on Saturday.
Spectator parking will be in the South Garage (across from Gampel Pavilion). This is about a 5 minute walk to the field. There is a $2 per hour charge for UConn garage parking. Spectators with difficulty making that walk may be dropped off at the stadium. There is a $10 fee to park at the UConn hockey rink and in other lots around campus.

For as long as I’ve been calling games mentioning pitch count during a 🥎 gm is looked at like..”pitch count? They can go forever”.
Is this something that needs to start at the lower level for players-coaches to get accustomed?

@ciacsports should create a pitch limit rule for this very reason. High school pitchers aren’t training to pitch into 130 pitch counts. They generally don’t throw that many in any club ball game.
