Quits are essentially back down to 2019 levels. This matters because wage growth and quits relationship fit with 2013-19 data* well-predicts actual wage growth after 2020. More support that the labor market is approaching pre-pandemic tightness levels. [* quadratic fit]

While #JOLTS doesn't have a breakdown by race, ethnicity and gender, we know that the high rates of turnover were especially important for Black and Latino workers and those with less education.
