If only @elonmusk knew how many students got their first taste of real-world programming using the Twitter API. This tool isn't going away, someone has chosen to lock students out of using it. :(

Today I shed a single tear for the Twitter API I've been using for probably a decade. I originally used it in APCS based on a project by @CScheerleader and I currently use it to teach APIs and file I/O to my Programming 2 students. Tools always go away, but this was a cool one.😢

TIL I could change my twitter handle to use Camel Case to be more accessible & easier to read. What used to be "betterallies" is now "BetterAllies" From @HashtagHeyAlexa's new guide: Twitter doesn’t register case adjustments as handle updates, so it’s still technically the same.

I admit that I frequently create long or potentially contenious emails in Docs first so that i have time to thoughtfully wordsmith without accidentally sending before I'm finished. This is a nice feature!
