Congrats to my friend/colleague @EtheridgeRod who retires from @cbcnl today. We met in 2007 at the Cameron Inquiry. A dyed-in-the-wool journalist, Rod’s superpower is finding meaningful stories that hit the heart. He’s been a mentor to me and so many others. We’ll miss you Rod!!

With temps starting a warming trend, I removed some of the insulation wrapping on my backyard beehive. I took a quick peek through the observation window and am delighted with how great they look!!! What a treat to see these little beauties in March! #nlwx 🐝❤️

I never knew a simple mug could bring me so much joy. A spot of tea with a dollop of honey from my backyard hive is a great way to warm up on a bitterly cold day. ❤️🥶🐝

Our two foster beagles escaped as we tried to bring them into Avalon Animal Centre on Logy Bay rd. one has a pink harness and both have collars with Beagle Paws’ number. They are sticking together but may be moving anywhere in the area.

Happy World Bee Day!! Here’s a flashback to 2018 when we were SHOCKED to discover honey bees inside our house. We moved the bees and comb into a backyard hive. My passion for beekeeping began that day. The bees are still thriving in our backyard 4 years later! #WorldBeeDay
