Well I was in-house call 4 out of the last 6 days including both Saturday and Sunday. They called me on the way home to come in for an add on case. I said no, letโs see how this plays out.

#RegionalAnesthesia #rapm how long of a hand case will@you guys do under regional with moderate sedation? I usually do all my hand cases with Ax block. Tomorrow I have a 3 hour case and I am pretty sure I can do the same thing. Thoughts?

Trying to watch some missed lectures from yesterday, when should@we expect the on demand lectures to be posted? #SCA2021
Did 9 hand cases today with only mid forearm nerve blocks. Surgeons Staff extremely impressed with speed to discharge and not needing sling after block (other than the ax block for distal radius) #regionalanesthesia

Case went well and hyst was avoided. I did a CSE and was ready for general if needed. Good IV access. Strangest thing happened though. I placed the spinal and pt hands completely motor blocked and she couldnโt swallow. No block of abdomen or legs at all. Epidural worked fine๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ

I am assuming the spinal was subdural? Had good csf return and catheter threaded in easy.
