Gentle reminder that u-turns are illegal at intersections controlled by lights in Sask. Intersections that actually have signs are there because it's a high collision intersection and they are there to make people more aware. @SGItweets @reginapolice

RPS partnered up with the Saskatchewan Roughriders for positive ticketing this week. We were to look for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians who were exhibiting safe behaviors while both on and off the road.

Last night I gave away tickets for today's game to a couple who stopped for a pedestrian at a cross walk when no one else did.
And on 2 separate stops motorcycle riders who had their plates visible, placards on and all their gear on. Go riders!

It's May long weekend, gentle reminder to register your camper and boat trailers, seeing way too many unregistered the last few days. It's a $175 fine. Remember if you are on continous you still have to answer the declaration questions, yearly.

With the warm weather, we will see lots of large puddles. Please slow down and don't splash pedestrians, sometimes it's unavoidable, I get that but do some risk management. It's a $90 fine or straight to court depending on the circumstances.

On Monday night we again partnered up with Melville RCMP and their SADD chapter and did a sobriety check stop. We put through 101 cars in 1.5 hours with a 100% pass rate! It's nice to get these types of results!

The other day our crew along with several other agencies participated in a joint project checking sobriety in commercial truck drivers. Over 350 vehicles checked, happy to report 0 suspensions for alcohol and drugs! @reginapolice @RCMPSask @SKGov @SGItweets
