Every child deserves the chance to learn, play and dream. Yet, many children are forced to work, at the expense of their education, safety and well-being.

Today, on International FIU Day, the Counter Trafficking Unit acknowledges the important work of the Financial Intelligence Unit of Trinidad and Tobago (FIUTT) and Financial Intelligence Units worldwide.
Human trafficking is organized crime motivated by financial gain. By tracing illicit proceeds and supporting investigations, financial intelligence plays a crucial role in dismantling criminal networks and ensuring that exploitation does not pay.
We value the continued partnership of the FIUTT in strengthening Trinidad and Tobago's response to Trafficking in Persons. Together, we are working to disrupt criminal enterprises, protect vulnerable persons and uphold justice.
On this Corpus Christi, we join with all who observe in reflecting on the values of faith, gratitude, and service to others.
Wishing you a peaceful and blessed day.
Today, the Counter-Trafficking Unit joins the national community in commemorating Indian Arrival Day 2026.
May this observance serve as a reminder of the importance of unity, respect, and preserving the diverse traditions that make our country unique. 🇹🇹
The Counter Trafficking Unit (CTU) has laid twenty-nine (29) criminal charges against two individuals following "Operation Purple Ryain," a major intelligence-led investigation into human trafficking in Trinidad and Tobago.
Human trafficking is a serious organized crime that exploits vulnerable people for profit. Through strong partnerships, intelligence-sharing, and coordinated law enforcement action, we remain committed to protecting those at risk and holding perpetrators accountable.
