It’s only been a year since @NYCSpeakerAdams introduced the idea of @CUNY Reconnect and already 16,000 students have re-started their education through the program. We're grateful to have her and @NYCCouncil as partners and we look forward to our continued work together.

Since @CUNY Reconnect launched with @NYCCouncil funding, it has welcomed over 16k returning students, 60% of whom are women and 82% belong to our Black, Latino, and AAPI communities. For working women like Karina, this program offers a second chance. #PeopleOverEverything
