The Plague Exodus- Elders The art for these keepers of the pond ended up being a personal gift back to the Plague. They came late in the process, after the scope was finished and the collection was “done.” The original plan looked a bit different, but once these guys took shape, I knew it was the right one. So I went all in. No scope, no expectations. Just care for the collection and the community around it. Seeing so many of you resonate with them has been incredibly meaningful. 🐸

Spent 20 years in IT. Worked my way up, thought I was secure. Then big tech cut me loose. I sent out thousands of applications. All I got back was silence. @ThePlagueNFT was the first place that did not just see me as a job application. @Pons_ETH and the team gave me a chance when no one else would. That is what decentralization looks like. Real opportunity, not gatekeeping. Now I am here building products at scale. Working with people I respect. Doing work that actually matters. The door was opened for me. What I do with it is on me.

Happy Birthday Frogs!

Three years ago the OG Frogs were born. We minted 1,000 for $150 each. We minted 300 for free. What did we do with the cash raised? ✅I received $0 ✅We paid the mods and community managers for their work. ✅We paid for our artists Masters degree ✅We paid for life saving surgery for a kid from Nigeria. Since then there have been many failures and many successes. There have been fun times, and there have been not so fun times. More importantly, we have stayed true to our mission of decentralizing opportunity. Thank you to all the Frogs that have stuck with us. Three years later, we can't say "we're just getting started." But we can say.... we have a lot more to accomplish.
