Today is National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. To mark the occasion, we remember the memorial service held in 1989 at the Loyola Chapel in honour of the 14 women lost in the tragic shooting at Montreal’s École Polytechnique.

#ArchivesAtoZ. U is for University. In 1974 Loyola College & Sir George Williams University merged into Concordia University. In its inaugural year, enrolment was 4373 students; in 2022-2023 enrollment was a staggering 49,898 students!
