Today, we partnered with the LASD Vehicle Theft Task Force to host a Catalytic Converter Etching Event at La Cañada High in @TheCityofLCF.
During the event, we etched the catalytic converters of 129 vehicles. This simple but effective theft-prevention measure helps deter thieves

and can assist law enforcement in identifying and returning stolen catalytic converters that are later recovered during criminal investigations.
We would like to thank everyone who attended and took proactive steps to help protect their vehicles from theft.

Criminals are becoming more sophisticated using hidden cameras disguised in everyday objects to monitor homeowners’ routines and identify the best time to strike.
Be on the lookout for suspicious devices placed near your home, including fake utility or grass boxes.
Wi-Fi signal blockers can also interfere with wireless security cameras, causing footage loss during a burglary. Consider hardwiring your camera systems for a more reliable layer of protection.
Protect your home:
• Keep exterior lights on at night
• Lock all doors and windows
• Report suspicious activity immediately
