It’s a sad state of affairs when not hoodwinking workers into believing the pay rate offered, is going to be their actual pay rate, has to be explained in terms that a toddler can understand…but we got there eventually. gov.uk/guidance/responsibili…

Susan Sarandon relishing the idea of Jews in America suffering racism because finally they might know what it feels like to be a *proper* minority - as obviously no US Jew can have possibly experienced that before - is perhaps the most Jews Don't Count thing that's ever happened.

HMRC has announced that hirers need only apply the off-payroll working rules to payments for services made after 6th April, that doesn’t mean the same as for contracts starting after that date.

telegraph.co.uk/tax/self-emp…. But the @telegraph report is wrong and will probably spawn copycat articles. The announcement applied the rules to payments for services provided after 6th April, not contracts that start after that date.

But is @GOVUK keeping us safe from fraudsters that are milking our labour market? Tax fraud is not a victimless crime don’t you know? I wrote to Ben Wallace about it and didn’t even receive a reply pfft! gov.uk/government/speeches/d…
The #LoanCharge is under review; meant to ‘draw a line’ under tax avoidance and loan schemes, the LC hasn’t worked. The same companies continue to promote loan schemes by hoodwinking taxpayers in different labour markets. If it doesn’t work, then please fix it Sir Amyas Morse
