Ppl want dark tropes but without the actual darkness. It's like ordering a cake but demanding it have no flavor/frosting. A "green flag yandere" is a complete oxymoron; the entire appeal of the trope is the unsettling, toxic/obsessive horror elements. What are ppl so afraid of?

not my usual post but i still stand by the fact that yanderes are not a โ€œdead trope.โ€ people just got way more uncomfortable with letting fictional characters be genuinely immoral, obsessive, or toxic without needing them to be sanitized first. (๐Ÿงต)
