As pro-regime accounts are trying to paint her as a mentally ill person, it’s time to make it clear: the very idea that religious totalitarianism - itself a kind of insanity - judges her as mentally ill is all you need to know. The way women have been treated in Iran for the last 45 years this protest is a beacon of courage and sanity. Make no mistake: those on here calling this an act of mental illness are paid shills of rather rich terrorists and will end up on the dustheap of history ⬇️

The video is remarkable. A student is told to fix her hijab and then in protest she took off her clothes. The girls watching from the window are aghast and even comment that she has a nice body but can’t believe what she’s doing. Sadly, it doesn’t end well put another reminder of what women and girls and Iran are up against.

#BREAKING: This happened in Amir-Kabir university of #Tehran. A brave student refused to cover her hair as a protest to barbaric compulsory Hijab laws of #Iran's Regime. As the security forces attacked her, she removed her dress. Sadly, she was severely beaten by the Intelligence service minutes after this video was recorded and she was dragged into an unmarked van with a broken head while was bleeding.

My friend in Kabul told me she was chatting with her sister while walking home today. She shared a joke - they both laughed. A Talib was passing them, and told them to stop walking.
He asked why he was hearing their voices.

Very cool cinema night last night with Rick Baylor 1980s experimental films, set in Ipswich including some of those people featured in the audience!
Hive looked great and Ipswich night club Olivia’s dj from back in the day had the after show disco. IT went OFF🎶🔥great crowd 🔥
