We're honoured to be selected by @kernelbrewery as the Manchester venue for their sixteenth birthday celebrations! 🥳🥳 We'll have kegs & cask pouring from them, including the launch of an Ernest Single-hopped Pale and also their birthday beer, Brown Stout London 1812.

This was crazy for a 15-year-old Lambic. 🤯 Despite the usual adage that 'fruit fades fast', that wasn't the case here, with it giving a ton of raspberry flavour throughout. Still plenty sour, with the complex, funky and earthy notes you expect for a beer that's this old.

An absolute treat to try at our staff party yesterday!

It doesn't get much more classic than Matty B drinking a @SierraNevada Pale Ale. An iconic beer brewed since 1980, one we love to have on draught! Perfectly pulls all the citrus and pine flavours from the Cascade hops to balance the biscuity malts.

Ultra-clean Cold IPA Cloudless from our good friends at @redwillowbrew! 🫧 Achieved with a malt base of Bohemian Pilsner and rice, and fermented with lager yeast to make it extra crisp. Hopped with Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe. Unfortunately, the weather doesn't match the name...

NOW! Free piece of Kirkham's Lancashire cheese courtesy of @NealsYardDairy with every pour of @kernelbrewery Running Porter! 🍺🧀 It's a perfect combination, the Lancashire is a raw milk farmhouse cheese, crumbly and creamy at the same time, and referred to as 'buttery crumble'.

Running Porter is based on 18th and 19th century ‘running’ beers, brewed to be enjoyed fresh, in contrast to “keeping” beers that were aged. This matches the cheese choice perfectly, and it's a perfect combination.

Still recovering from our @thornbridge Tap Takeover last week 😅 Luckily, Necessary Evil English Whisky Barrel-Aged is still pouring! Aged in English Whisky barrels for 8 months. Chocolate, vanilla and orchard fruit flavours from the barrel and subtle liquorice and peat.
