Check in with your students throughout the class period using emoticons to check the vibe! A simple smiley face can let you know they're feeling confident, while a puzzled emoji 🤔 might indicate they need a little extra help. This not only makes communication fun but also encourages students to express themselves openly. Consider starting the class by asking them to share an emoji that represents how they're feeling about the topic, and revisit this at the end to see how their emotions have evolved. Emoticons can be a great icebreaker and a tool for maintaining a supportive and engaging classroom environment. #TeacherTipTuesday
