BIRMINGHAM REGIONAL FINALIST Finally a run to be proud of. After putting in so much hard work mastering Dondozo over the last few years, I’m extremely happy to finally have a deep run and bring home a medal for Dondozo. (1/🧵)

Finished Top 16 at Seville. I’m happy to have given the team one final good showcase on stream. Dazzling Gleam > Taunt Flutter was the best decision ever 🤩

78th/1455 at EUIC and my first IC Day 2! Decided to run back my Birmingham team with minor changes although it was absolutely not the call for this tournament, so I’m glad it still worked out. Next time I want to do better in Day 2 🤩

Finally, thanks to all the casters for your kind words. It was very motivating to hear @tapu_kyriakou say I’ve proven that I’m one of the best Dondozo Tatsugiri players in the world. I won’t stop here, and I’ll keep working hard to improve further. See you in London!🫔 (10/10)

Shoutouts: Thanks as always to @victorjcoll1 for all the prep and support. This season we have 4/6 top cuts among both of us combined, so let’s continue to work hard and keep up the consistency🫔 (6/🧵)

Many people always say that Dondozo can never win a big tournament because the archetype is too linear, but I think my games on stream this weekend speak for themselves. With the victory being so close, I’ll keep working hard to bring home a win for Dondozo one day. (5/🧵)

Although I fell short in finals, I’m happy to have achieved one of the best Dondozo results in a very long time. I hope this proves that Dondozo is not a fraud ā˜ ļø (4/🧵)

This was the hardest run I’ve ever had. In Phase 1, I actually lost 5/8 Game 1s, partially due to my inexperience with the team. But fortunately my experience with Dondozo over the years carried me through, and I was able to figure out my gameplans on the fly. (3/🧵)

@victorjcoll1 and I only decided on the team on Thursday night, so I had very little practice with it. I’m incredibly proud of how I played throughout the weekend, piloting the team all the way to finals. (2/🧵)
