Coach Coverdale is one of the top minds in football - excited to hear him talk about finding ways to win in critical situations. First Downs = Touchdowns
Most offensive coaches spend time studying their calls. The next level is studying the intent behind defensive calls. Third down is where that shows up. Pressure packages, disguises, rotations, fit adjustments, and situational tendencies all influence what happens before the ball is ever snapped. That's one of the reasons we're bringing Andrew Coverdale, Kentucky Passing Game Coordinator, in as the keynote speaker for @CCNSmartClinics Move the Chains. On-demand sessions are available now. Live sessions begin June 23.

Games are won or lost in the moments that matter. 3rd down. Red Zone. Two-minute drill. Critical open-field calls. Most offenses break down here because coaches don’t have a battle-tested plan, preparation process, or call sheet built for these situations. That changes NOW. The Move the Chains Offensive Situational Symposium by @CCNSmartClinics — the deepest dive into situational offense you’ll get this summer. ✅ On-demand sessions LIVE right now ✅ Live Roundtable, Workshops & Keynote: June 23-25 Build the systems that move the chains when it counts most. Give your offense the edge. Coaches who want to dominate situational football — this is for YOU. Don’t leave your season to chance.

Installation Thought Process: 💭🤔 -Should we run this concept/play? 1.) Does it fit our personnel? 2.) Is it sound? 3.) Can our coaches teach it? 4.) Can our players learn/execute it? 5.) Is it easily adaptable/correctable?
This is why RPOs break down for most teams — and why they don't have to. 🧵

Future Proof. ⚔️
A play isn't a concept if you can't fix it. @CalebCorrill on building offense that lasts. Understand why a concept works Know how to correct it when it breaks down Build answers off the same foundation Anybody can draw up a play. The best coaches build systems that can adapt, evolve, and stand the test of time. That's how concepts become future-proof.

8 themes stood out from the 2026 C.O.O.L. Clinic: 1. Counter is having a moment 2. Wide zone and tight zone are being taught differently 3. Pass pro hands are evolving 4. Pullers kick. Logs just happen 5. Moving targets are becoming key drill tools 6. Analytics are entering the OL room 7. Simple, repeated technique still wins 8. Culture is louder than ever Across NFL, college, and HS voices, the message was clear: The best OL coaches are building around timeless technique, modern tools, relentless repetition, and strong culture. Full breakdown in the reply.

Situational football is bigger than the special periods on the practice script. @DanCarrel explains why every snap gives the defense information, and why players need to understand the context before the ball is snapped. The goal is not to overload them. It is to help them narrow the picture, communicate clearly, and play faster when the offense changes the look. Read more: coachandcoordinator.com/situ…

The camp evaluation does not start with the first throw. It starts when your name hits the registration list. Coaches already have boards, film, measurables, offers, communication history, and internal priority lists. Early registration gives them time to connect the player they have studied with the player they are about to watch. Attention is part of the evaluation. Earn it before the first rep.
