ALBUM REVIEW: Sleeping With Sirens — 'An Ending In Itself' (8.5/10)
✍️: @mat_abe182
🔗: calibertv.net/reviews/sleepi…
"‘An Ending In Itself’ is the best Sleeping with Sirens record since 2011’s ‘Let’s Cheers to This’. It really feels like not only did they tap into what made them special so long ago, but they included their best qualities over the years to deliver an incredibly solid album. Identity is something this band has gone back and forth on over the years, but I feel they’ve found a really strong one on this record for the career they’ve had."
ALBUM REVIEW: Super Sometimes — 'Show The World What's Underneath (8/10)
✍️: @mat_abe182
🔗: calibertv.net/reviews/super-…
"Super Sometimes have managed to put out an incredibly solid debut record, with ‘Show the World What’s Underneath’. They hit all the right notes and spots to where if you’re a fan of the genre, I think you’ll have a fun time with this album. And these boys have a bright future ahead of them, showing the world just how fun pop punk can be once again."
ALBUM REVIEW: Koyo — 'Barely Here' (8.5/10)
✍️: @mat_abe182
🔗: calibertv.net/reviews/koyo-b…
"I genuinely think Koyo has matched the level of quality of their debut with ‘Barely Here’. They’re still on the rise at the moment, and I’d be shocked if this album doesn’t make them a bigger name in the scene. But they continue to be as consistent as ever, doing a masterful job at wearing their influences on their sleeve and continue at feeling fresh with each track."

ALBUM REVIEW: Broadside — 'Nowhere, At Last' (9/10)
✍️: @mat_abe182
🔗: calibertv.net/reviews/broads…
"Broadside have indeed found the best version of themselves with 'Nowhere, At Last'. It amplifies and expands upon what worked on their last two albums, and made an album full of their best material to date. It would be unwise to continue sleeping on this band, as they’ve quietly cemented themselves as one of the best to do it in the scene."
ALBUM REVIEW: Free Throw — 'Moments Before The Wind' (8.5/10)
✍️: @mat_abe182
⛓️: calibertv.net/reviews/free-t…
"Free Throw have really put out their best album since their debut, with ‘Moments Before the Wind’. It captures a lot of what people love about this band, but in a really refined and varietal way that makes them feel bigger. They’re here to stay yet again, and fans of the genre will welcome this record with open arms.
ALBUM REVIEW: Sweet Pill — 'Still There's a Glow' (8.5/10)
✍️: @mat_abe182
🔗: calibertv.net/reviews/sweet-…
"I genuinely think ‘Still There’s a Glow’ feels like Sweet Pill have already one upped themselves on their sophomore release. It really feels like they’ve refined their sound, as well as expanded upon it across these 13 tracks. They’re easily one of the best bands in the genre right now, and they have a very bright future ahead of them with a record like this one."
ALBUM REVIEW: ERRA — 'silence outlives the earth’ (9/10)
✍️: @mat_abe182
🔗: calibertv.net/reviews/erra-s…
"...‘silence outlives the earth’ is a big step up from ERRA’s last record. It continues to show off the growth and fresh type of metalcore they bring, even in 2026. The genre continues to be stronger and better with them upfront and really better than ever."

𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪: @benquadok | 'Wisher' (9/10)
✍️: @mat_abe182
"This year has been stacked when it comes to emo records, but Ben Quad has offered one of the best within the past decade with ‘Wisher’. It makes for one of the best albums this year, and an album that I’m sure many will connect with in the years to come. This band just showed that they’re here to be in the big leagues, right up there in the conversation with bands like Arm’s Length or Hot Mulligan."
