I really appreciate how Kane's Backrooms are NOT just the SCP foundation. What hes done with the lore is genuinely way more terrifying and impactful than infinite player levels with big spooky monsters randomly flailing about. I prefer my monsters to flail about with purpose!

Just realised I inadvertantly remade the Scadu Tree Avatar in my Backrooms piece 🥸
And y'know what, yeah, the Shadow Sunflower would totally show up in the Backrooms as Van Gogh's still life, after y'know, "years" of degredation by recursion merges him with the flower itself~

My theory for how the Backrooms came to be.
At some point, an MRI machine by Async scanned a dementia patient's brain causing the 1st Null zone(s) to open in the doctor's office/waiting room. The backrooms looks like a waiting room because thats the patient's most recent memory.

I appreciate the immagery of the Ship's Wheels as way to subtly acknowledge the theme of Loops in the Backrooms.
