We thank the volunteers and crew who maintain our vessels and serve our community– especially those who would not otherwise have an opportunity to learn about our marine environment and to be "messing about in boats." To help keep the ships afloat, visit callofthesea.org/vessel-sust…
Meet our amazing, hardworking “ Wednesday maintenance crew”. These gentlemen dedicate weekly time and effort to maintain Mathew Turner and Seaward, and are among the volunteers who built Mathew Turner. Thank you all for your help in keeping our vessels in tip top shape!

Today we thank our dedicated, knowledgeable and passionate volunteer Mike Wing, who teaches high school physics. Mike is often aloft or educating passengers about marine science. He is first to volunteer for any job, even cleaning the heads. Thank you for all that you do Mike!
Randall Landaiche is our Bosun's right hand man. He comes every weekend, doing everything from re-rigging ratlines, making chafe gear & tensioning back stays, happy to explain what he's doing to crew & passengers. Thank you for your help and time Randall!
Today, we honor volunteer Aaron Altabet. He loves to joke around with crew and is extremely friendly with passengers. He makes up words like ‘cruster’ aka ‘crew muster’. Thank you for all you do Aaron, we love having you on the team! Thank you Loretta & @brubakerchad for photos!
Happy Thanksgiving! We are grateful for @Chadbrubaker_! He gives us almost every spare moment he has. He thinks about improvements to be made to Matthew Turner, whether it's splicing or teaching the crew sextant use. Chad is happy to include and be included. Thank you, Chad!
