My argument is simple… Across core socioeconomic indicators, Democratic-led states consistently outperform Republican-led states by significant margins. Not in every category. Not in every state. But on balance, and especially in outcomes tied to quality of life. Below are the categories I’m using, with sources linked so this stays grounded in reality. Jazz: “hey Walker we will pay you $22” WK: “no, pay me 35” Jazz “no, nobody in the Market is getting that as a non MVP C right now. Look we can sign now or wait and see if market changes.” WK: “we will wait” ….. market doesn’t change. Jazz: “okay so $22?” WK: “I am upset you won’t pay me $30 ” The end.

People like this always trying to make small market teams look bad. Maybe Washington has told the guy he will be their pick, which means it is a complete waste of time to workout, has nothing to do with Utah. …and as far as Kessler, he thinks he is worth 35 million a year, wtf is paying him that outside of idiots like Sacramento and Brooklyn? 🙄
Difficult day for the Jazz on the optics front: Here you have Darryn Peterson refusing to work out for the team with the No. 2 pick, one year after Ace Bailey did the same (when they had No. 5). Meanwhile, sources tell @TheAthletic that a player who does want to be there - big man Walker Kessler - is at odds with the front office over his lack of an extension offer last summer and the current handling of his restricted free agency. More to come…

What is it with all of these plane crashes?

Question… Do you think that Utah could have possibly become more bullish on not accepting Kesslers demands after watching New York win without a “rim protector”? Is it a coincidence Boozer has gotten more traction after watching New York win? 🤨

This doesn't sound like 35 million dollar Kessler, and I'm all on board baby. Key could be on the precipice of a spectacular season. I'm not trying to see my team get locked in with a huge contract on someone that is not easily movable. Especially when there are some pretty solid big man options out there that we could get for cheaper and the versatility of our front Court with someone like Boozer. Yes we will lose some rim protection, but we've just watched the championship team win without a rim protector, and a very good rebounder who could stretch the floor 🤔
Walker Kessler is reportedly frustrated with the Jazz front office after not receiving an extension offer last summer and over how his upcoming restricted free agency is being handled, per @sam_amick

It sounds to me like Peterson has been viewed by Washington as the number one pick. Washington probably was in the same position as Utah, where they would be happy with either but they view one as better... Probably Peterson And the only way that they would come off of that first pic is if they got some type of draft compensation or more from Utah and Utah wasn't willing to deal So they're going with the best player in their view in the draft.
Reporting for NBA Today on top prospect Darryn Peterson deciding to only grant a visit -- and access -- to the No. 1 pick Washington Wizards ahead of the June 23 draft:

Oh this is why. Ok, well guess we getting AJ although I want Cam.
WOAH 😳 It looks like Darryn Peterson canceled his Jazz workout AFTER he had met with Washington. His camp is reportedly "very confident they're going #1." But sources say there's still been "plenty of communication" with Utah, and Peterson wasn't avoiding the Jazz. (via @KSLsports and @BensHoops)

BREAKING: The Chicago Bulls are finalizing the hire of Portland Trail Blazers interim Tiago Splitter as the franchise's new head coach, sources tell ESPN. Splitter succeeds Billy Donovan as the Bulls' coach after stepping into the head job and excelling in Portland last season.

I actually do not care who we draft in the top 4. Like, at all.

Kind of hard for me to see him with these teams as he seems to like to have the ball in hands. Miami seems like a better usage fit, but then they will have a Cleveland thing going w/ no stretch ability but Id say Bam/Giannis could overcome that…big men passing and defense…
The Giannis Antetokounmpo sweepstakes is officially down to the Celtics and Heat. Giannis is open to signing long-term in both places, and each is ready to finish a trade with the Bucks. Expect a resolution by the end of this week with Milwaukee wanting clarity by the draft.

Crook.
Trump's investment accounts traded between $212 million and $695 million in stocks and other securities in the first three months of the year — an unprecedented sum for a sitting president. He's just straight-up using his presidency to make massive profits. cbsnews.com/news/trump-stock…

I gotta submit an apology to Jalen Brunson and his fans, because I know I can come across like a hater when honestly any team in this league should want a player like him. This is a dude that put in the work. Not the most athletic, not the most naturally gifted, but just kept grinding and turned himself into this level of player. And on top of that, this man took a $113 million pay cut so his organization would have a better chance to build a championship team. That says a lot. So not only is he a hard worker, he's a team player too. I still joke and say he's basically a short version of Kobe that doesn't play defense, but at some point you gotta give credit where it's due. If it ends with a championship, none of that other stuff matters. Congratulations Jalen Brunson.

I could see the Jazz moving down a lil bit and take Darius Acuff! Heard is the Jazz were Blown away by his individual workout

If it's true about what's going on with Darryn, someone matches up with why some people speculate that Utah might go with Boozer, even though we also know that Utah will not hesitate on drafting a player regardless if they want to come there or not

I think my top three now looks like @ZP12Hoops I do not like primadonnass who have yet to even play one single minute in the NBA
Developments ahead of the June 23-24 NBA draft: BYU's AJ Dybantsa has conducted formal visits with both the Washington Wizards (No. 1) and Utah Jazz (No. 2) while Kansas' Darryn Peterson only visited the Wizards and does not plan to grant anyone else a meeting, sources tell me and @JeremyWoo. Both have believed in going No. 1 -- and now teams in the lottery are taking note of Peterson's decision to only give access to Washington.

It didn't peak in the 90s. The viewers are continuing to rise. More teams having a chance makes more fanbases invested in their teams. This increases the league's popularity as a whole. League just needs to give airtime to a variety of teams not just big markets.

Sometimes I just don’t get it… Why would we wanna go back backwards? We legitimately just watched the three best defensive teams in the playoffs, we want to win… But we want to bring players who are not good defensively, one that is actually atrocious and barely played minutes for the team that won the championship…
Jordan Clarkson and John Collins off the bench would be elite 🤌🏽
