Statement by Eluned Morgan MS, First Minister of Wales on the passing of Hefin David MS.
We are extremely saddened by the sudden death of Hefin. Our thoughts are with his family at this terrible time. Hefin was a much-loved member of the Labour family. He served Caerphilly as a councillor and a Member of the Senedd with pride and passion. He was an outstanding politician, warm and enthusiastic and a great communicator – especially on behalf of his constituents. He will be greatly missed.

For Wales members: 71 per cent of respondent members in Wales voted to accept the award.  Following a meeting with the cabinet secretary for health and social care, the CSP can confirm that the pay award will be fully funded in Wales.

We will take action against employment law breaches, CSP warns employers

An employment tribunal has found that an employer are bound to pay a physiotherapist more than £20,000 damages for breach of contract, unlawful deductions from wages and unpaid holiday pay.
