ALT Workshop on Reconciliation, Opportunities for, and Wellbeing of First Nations Peoples: Yarning and learning together Date of workshop: 2-3 Feb 2023 Submission deadline Friday 25 November 2022 Call for papers: We are calling for papers that analyse interview, survey, cohort, experimental, scanner or administrative data to better understand the facilitators and hurdles of achieving good outcomes for First Nations Peoples in Australia and around the world. The themes of the workshop are broad: we are encouraging submissions on child and youth development, emotional wellbeing, intergenerational trauma and racism, health outcomes and labour markets, economic and educational opportunities, welfare dependence, self-determination and self-sufficiency, community development and public policy. Papers that provide insights into how data can be used to contribute to a national reconciliation effort and how Indigenous data sovereignty can be operationalised are particularly welcome.
