Need your opinion here, friends… I recently purchased a mystery pack from a card shop in Tokyo. I was told that the floor value of the cards in the pack would be at minimum 76k yen ($475 USD). By my maths, the value is not $475…so I went back to the shop owner and he claims that the Ash’s Pikachu is worth 60k yen ($375) and stores around the area list it for over that. I’m seeing recent sales for $60 USD. Obviously it’s a mystery pack and you never know what you’re going to get. But if you’re told that the floor is a certain amount, then it should be that amount, right?!
