The World Cup seems so long in that we have already have seen so many matches, yet some of the big teams are yet to play like Spain (just started), Argentina, France, England and Portugal. And that is just round 1!

Watching the scenes in Toronto, packed stadiums in LA, and Brazil fans taking over Times Square… it feels like there are multiple World Cups happening at once.
One underrated part of a multi-country World Cup: host-city FOMO. Big hubs turn into nonstop football festivals, while smaller cities get fewer matches but often a more local, intimate experience. Imagine being in Kansas or Vancouver vs. the energy in Toronto, NYC or LA.
Same tournament - completely different pulse. 🌎⚽️

Both represent countries positioned in the southern reaches of their respective continents — North America and Africa. Different hemispheres, different histories, but both sit closer to the south than most all of their continental rivals.
