I get this from a player standpoint. Like losing in the championship game stings harder than losing elsewhere. But from a legacy standpoint (which most players donβt have to worry about right now), Iβd rather lose later than earlier.

Thereβs something about how the SW movies portrayed Dooku as evil but also respecting and suave in a way while both animated series make him purely evil and ruthless. Idk itβs hard to describe but he just seems more sinister in both series where he isnβt as much in the movies.

His Tales stories gave us someone who was very βmatter of factβ and honest while also not taking anyoneβs bullshit. It was definitely an interesting look into his character. I do kinda wish we could see more of him from before his fall. Seems like someone who toted the line a lot

I do wonder what an AU would be in the avatar lore if say instead of the airbender genocide, it was the water benders who got massacred. The North and South Pole just completely gone and only 1 waterbender left. Itβd make the being frozen in an iceberg thing make more sense lol

And then you can have the comics or the sequel series be them discovering the swamp benders and realized they were in hiding or are just so unknown that nobody knows about them. They bring them out of hiding to rebuild both pole and cultures.
